Experience.

Let me start by saying this: if you're looking for an adventurous escape from the everyday, this three-day experience offers a surprising A twist to your routine. No booking required, no overly Instagrammable locations, just you, a bunch of dedicated professionals in balaclavas, and a dark sense of loss of control.

The journey begins with a classic heist setting, somewhere between “unexpected” and “unwanted.” Within seconds, you find yourself in a cozy, slightly claustrophobic space — the trunk of a car. The smell of old carpet, motor oil, and desperation gives you an authentic experience that you won’t find in a brochure. And while the space to move around is limited, that’s part of the charm: minimalism in its purest form.

What makes this three-hour drive truly special is the combination of sensory stimulation and introspective silence. Every bump in the road is a reminder that you’re alive—at least for now. There’s the hum of the car, snatches of traffic noise, the occasional bend that makes you rethink your spine. Call it a meditative reset, but without the freedom of choice or a yoga mat.

Arriving at your destination (somewhere Google Maps wisely doesn’t venture), you’re left behind in a poetic way. The kidnappers, with an eye for detail and punctuality, leave by bus, which is a testament to their commitment to sustainability. No unnecessary violence, no big drama — just you, the moon, and a vast landscape that calls for existential questions.

What made this experience above expectations was the subtle balance between tension and resignation. The contrast between absolute helplessness and sudden aloneness in unknown territory provides a deep, existential cleansing. You get to know yourself in ways that a yoga retreat in Bali simply does not offer.

Of course, there are areas for improvement. The trunk would have benefited from a neck rest, and a bottle of water would have been a nice touch. I also missed a soundtrack — something by Radiohead would have felt appropriate. But hey, those are details.

In short, for those who long for a priceless experience (in the sense that you literally have no influence on the payment), this is a must. A journey where you have no idea where you are going, but know very well where you came from.

Pros: unexpected twists, eco-friendly kidnappers, introspective potential
Negatives: lack of legroom, poor customer service upon arrival

A dark gem in the range of unplanned trips.
