De oud papier bak staat op een kier, al van ver zichtbaar te vol, een compacte laag kranten en dozen die zich tegen elkaar hebben vastgezet alsof ze geen millimeter meer willen prijsgeven. Mijn oude krant voelt plotseling groter dan hij is wanneer ik hem probeer tussen de massa te duwen; het papier kraakt, de hoeken kreukelen, de voorpagina vervormt. Even overweeg ik harder te drukken, maar ik trek hem terug, sla hem dubbel, maak hem kleiner dan hij was.
