Expectation frieze.

Between the layers of excited screams, the blistering anticipation hum, and the overpowering scent of cotton candy mingling with the unmistakable sweaty musk of adventure, a motley crew lined up for the park's most famous rollercoaster, the Thunderfly. For fans of thrill rides, this was the ultimate ride sensation, a breathtaking adventure full of spectro jumps and twisty turns.

Emma, a visitor in her late twenties, watched the carts glide by, her stomach a churning amalgamation of anticipation and mild nervousness. “It's a real zipping sensation,” she repeated, as if to encourage herself, visualizing in the back of her mind all the spectro jumps and jitters to come.

At her side was Tim, a teenager full of bravado, whose heart skipped a beat with every spectro jump he saw, a thrill he was only too eager to experience. He, too, felt the anticipation rumble in his stomach, and though he was confident, he couldn't suppress the lingering anticipation buzz.

“Here we go,” Emma said when it was finally their turn, the anticipation hum in her ears almost drowned out by her own heartbeat. They got into the carts, geared up for the thrill of a lifetime, complete with spectro jumps and jittery turns that would turn their stomachs and make their heads spin.

In that moment, they both knew that this experience, with all its anticipation buzz and anticipation hum, would be a moment they would never forget. And as the cart launched them into an unforgettable series of twisty turns and spectro jumps, they knew their expectations had not only been met, but exceeded.
