Dear Day to Come,
With some reservation but also with hope I turn to you. You, who are still a blank slate, an unknown path that stretches out before me. Today I want to ask you to be gentle, to bring a touch of softness and understanding into your presence.
I know that your coming is inevitable. Fate has placed you on my path, with the promise of new opportunities, challenges and moments of meaning. Yet I cannot deny that your coming also brings a certain tension. Because who knows what you carry with you? Will you be filled with light, or will you carry clouds with you? Will you offer me the space to grow, or will I fight against the flow of your hours?
Gentleness is what I ask. May your morning begin with soft colors, your afternoon be filled with small blessings, and your evening end in a warm embrace of tranquility. Give me moments to stop time, even if only for a moment. Moments to breathe, to listen to the whisper of the wind, and to feel that I am part of something greater.
I know that you are not in control of everything. Sometimes others bring storms into your hours, and sometimes it is my own thoughts that darken the sky. But if you can, I ask you to give me a little protection. Let me not get lost in worries or drown in expectations. Help me to find strength in small victories and to draw wisdom from moments of silence.
I also promise you something, Day to Come. I will try to welcome you with open arms, even if the first hours feel a bit rough. I will do my best not to cling to what was yesterday, but to welcome you as a chance to start over. I will look for beauty in the everyday and try to keep my heart soft, even when life shows itself harsh.
Maybe you bring unexpected encounters, a word that touches me, or a smile that lightens my heart. Maybe you teach me something I didn’t know, or remind me of something I’d forgotten. Whatever it is, I’ll try to see your gifts, even when they’re hidden in awkward packages.
So, dear Day, please be gentle. Let your hours be a friend and not an enemy. And as I await your arrival, I fill my heart with a spark of hope that you will bring me something beautiful.
Yours sincerely,
