The beginning.

The Beginning: The Peak of Each Item

In the world of writing, there is an undisputed truth that every author, journalist, and writer takes to heart: the beginning of an article is always the best part. This is the moment that grabs the reader's attention, sets the tone, and establishes the essence of the story. A strong beginning is like a first impression; it can make or break how the rest of the piece is received.

The beginning is where the magic happens. Writers spend hours, sometimes days, perfecting the first few sentences. These sentences should be powerful, intriguing and captivating. They should draw the reader into the story and make a promise about what is to come. A good start sets the tone and creates expectations.

The End: An Inevitable Disappointment

On the other side is the end of the article, often seen as the weakest part. Why? Because it is often anticlimactic. After a powerful and fascinating beginning, the ending can only be disappointing. It is the point where the writer must deliver on his promises, which rarely happens satisfactorily. The ending is also the moment when the reader realizes that the adventure is over. This can lead to a feeling of emptiness or disappointment.

The ending is often a rush job. Writers, who put so much effort into the beginning, grow tired by the time they reach the end. This can make the ending feel rushed or less thought out. It often lacks the shine and sharpness of the beginning.

The Turnaround: An Unexpected Truth

However, all this is just a facade, a deception. In reality, the opposite is true. The beginning of an article, no matter how shiny and attractive, is just a lure. It's the ending that reveals the true power of an article. The ending is where everything comes together, where the meaning becomes clear and where the real impact of the piece is felt.

It is in the ending that the writer shows his true mastery. A good ending can transform a mediocre beginning into something memorable. It can leave the reader with new insights, deep emotions or unforgettable images. The end is where the real value of the article lies, not in the beginning.

So, while we initially claim that the beginning is the best and the ending is the worst, in reality it is the ending that is the most meaningful and powerful. The beginning is only the prelude; the end is the climax.
