Manifesto for the Preservation of the Auditory Health of Plants
We, the plant kingdom advocates, gardeners, nature lovers and biodiversity advocates, come together to raise our voices for the protection of plant hearing.
Recent research has shown that plants can perceive sounds. This discovery calls for a new form of environmental protection – protecting the auditory health of plants. It is up to us to take action and prevent our geraniums, roses and even the little blades of grass from ever needing hearing aids.
#ListenToThePlants
We advocate the introduction of noise-free zones in parks, garden centers and other green spaces. These silent sanctuaries will not only provide a safe haven for our plant friends, but also a tranquil oasis for all nature lovers.
#QuietForOurPlants
Furthermore, we call for a ban on shouting at plants. Our leafy companions should not be the subject of sonic aggression. Respecting the auditory space of plants is a step towards a more peaceful and harmonious relationship with nature.
#StopShoutingAtTheSprouts
We call for awareness and advocate for respectful treatment of plant auditory health. It's time to turn down the volume and listen to what nature has to say.
